CODE FOR KIDS: A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY THROUGH THE FASCINATING POSSIBILITIES OF IT
In a world where technology is omnipresent, understanding basic IT and programming concepts is becoming increasingly important. For this reason, we at Reply have launched the “Code for Kids” initiative, in which we at 4brands Reply are also actively involved, contributing our knowledge and experience. With this program, we want to introduce children to the latest technologies in a fun and entertaining way, awaken their interest in programming and development and get them excited about the diverse possibilities of IT and other MINT subjects.
Our aim is to awaken children’s curiosity and inquiring minds and provide them with a solid foundation for future learning and career opportunities. To this end, we have developed a variety of interactive workshops for children of different age groups. Our approach is based on playful learning, where technologies and complex concepts are made understandable and tangible through fun activities and projects – from programming their own website to developing a digital piano.
A SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT: STORYTELLING WITH AI
All of us have probably used ChatGPT at least once or integrated it into our daily workflow. For many children, however, this could be a first. Our Code for Kids trainers are currently introducing children to generative artificial intelligence (AI) on a regular basis – either as part of nationwide campaign days such as Girls’ and Boys’ Day or through school visits. The children are immersed in the fascinating field of storytelling with ChatGPT. They have the opportunity to give free rein to their creativity and develop exciting stories or create interactive applications.
