Since 01.01.2025, the receipt of electronic invoices has been mandatory in the B2B sector as a result of the Growth Opportunities Act. There is a basic obligation to send electronic invoices, with transitional provisions until 2027. The Federal Ministry of Finance finalized the introduction in its letter of 15.10.2024.
