A look behind the scenes
My time as a working student
My name is Aijten Zeciri and I work as a working student in the online marketing field. I entered the world of work through an apprenticeship as a marketing communications administrator, where I discovered my passion for marketing. During my business studies, I took the opportunity to turn my commitment and ideas into reality at 4brands Reply.
Why marketing? Quite simply! I can live out my creativity there. New topics constantly arise, new content ideas are developed for these topics and creativity is crucial.
This ensures that my day-to-day work is varied, which I really enjoy. The online marketing sector is also very diverse. I work in different areas such as content marketing, social media marketing and event management. I create content for LinkedIn, write blog posts, maintain our homepage or help organize webinars. The topics are varied, which I find exciting and challenging.
My working day is organized 100% from home. For me, this means that I can organize my working day flexibly alongside my studies. During the induction phase, I was given an overview of the areas of responsibility.
Regular meetings are planned in which we update each other on the upcoming areas of responsibility.
This means I can work on tasks independently and am always up to date. I have my own responsibilities and actively contribute to shaping the marketing area.
The positive aspects of my work are the good working atmosphere, the possibility of organizing my working hours freely, the consideration of my wishes when I want to learn about new subject areas and the opportunity to contribute new ideas.
While writing this blog article, I realized that we, as 4brands Reply, do not have a present career page. I expressed the idea of a stronger focus on the careers page and the idea was welcomed with open arms.
I independently created a plan on how we can make the careers page more present and now I am writing this blog article, customizing our careers page in the next step and then creating a LinkedIn post to increase the reach of the careers page.
I’m excited about the other challenges that await me and look forward to continuing to develop my marketing skills. If you have the opportunity to work as a working student in a company, I can only recommend it: Take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable experience and your first insights into the world of work. It’s worth it!
