LogiMAT 2025 - Innovations for the future of logistics
LogiMAT, one of the leading trade fairs for intralogistics solutions and process management, opened its doors again in Stuttgart in 2025. Every year, the international logistics industry gathers here to discover the latest developments, technologies and concepts.
Our mission as 4brands Reply: Uncover the potential in logistics for consumer goods manufacturers and find innovative solutions that move the industry forward. We even had one of these solutions in our luggage – more on that later.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRADE: INNOVATION TRENDS AND OUR TOP TOPICS
During our visit to LogiMAT, we had the opportunity to have a close look at the latest developments in intralogistics, automation and process management. Some of the top-of-mind topics that particularly caught our eye were:
1. Artificial Intelligence: AI solutions and smart warehousing systems that seamlessly integrate humanoid robots into the action through IoT and automation made a strong statement at this year’s LogiMAT. The large number of best practices underlines the importance and potential that these technologies have to revolutionize warehouse processes and make the entire value chain more efficient and flexible.
2. Smart Warehousing: The next generation of warehousing systems – driven by robotics, IoT and automation – was the focus of many exhibitors. Particularly exciting: With its solutions – GALILEA and Lea Reply – Logistics Reply impressively presented how the digital transformation sustainably meets the dynamic requirements of modern warehouse and logistics processes and makes them future-proof.

3. Cyber Security and Occupational Safety: With increasing digitalization, the security of production and logistics infrastructures is becoming more important. In addition to new solutions for protection against cyber attacks, companies also presented a variety of robotics and AR/VR technologies, for example for remote support, which ensure greater safety in the workplace.
4. AI-driven Robotics and Automation: Agile robotic systems that work seamlessly with ERP and warehouse management systems as well as other autonomous units are among the key drivers of the next level of automation. Companies such as Boston Dynamics presented solutions that make the handling of goods and the unloading of containers more efficient and safer – with the aim of enabling smooth human-robot collaboration.
5. Digital Twin Technologies: The numerous Digital Twin solutions were a particular highlight at LogiMAT. Various exhibitors presented systems in which robots and drones autonomously capture production and warehouse environments and create digital images in real time. These 3D models and simulations make it possible to seamlessly document the current status of systems and processes. In addition to traditional condition monitoring, solutions were also shown that use AI applications to identify anomalies and highlight optimization potential.
6. Sustainability in logistics: Sustainable solutions were also a key topic at LogiMAT. The focus was on energy-efficient storage and conveyor systems, CO₂-reduced transport solutions and intelligent packaging concepts. Numerous exhibitors showed how the ecological footprint in intralogistics can be significantly reduced through the use of AI-supported route optimization and resource-saving processes.
OUR SOLUTION IN THE LUGGAGE: AUTOMATED INVENTORY WITH DRONES
This year, we had the opportunity to present our own drone solution at LogiMAT, which ensures automated inventory with its intelligent networking. We are providing consumer goods manufacturers with a tool that makes stocktaking more efficient and time-saving.
The autonomous drones are true masters in real-time inventory management. Packed with AI, they navigate independently through the warehouse, capture pallet labels at lightning speed and synchronize everything in real time with SAP Extended Warehouse Management. This means that stock discrepancies can be detected and corrected almost at the touch of a button. And that’s not all – the use of drones and AI not only speeds up processes, but also efficiently monitors and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
At the trade fair, we were able to show live how our solution works. It was simply an incredible experience that we would like to share with you!
